    fix the blurry fonts

The font on the update bubbles looks blurry, is there some way to fix that? Unfortunately I've noticed Adobe AIR in general blurs fonts a lot.

    Create custom tab groups

The ability to create custom tab groups for alerts (ie. news, tech, etc. ). Some of my feeds update much slower than news feeds, so they always get bumped off the list.

If I could put fast paced updates on a separate tab, then I could check out interesting things on my slower feeds too.

please fix "No internet connection" - box doesn't close

In Vista, multi-user and in low-power mode, I think AlertThingy senses the loss of the network connection during power transitions. But the Oops! No internet connection box which has a Close link does not close even when the network is restored.

do yourself a favor and research other social netowrking app

To create the one to rule them all, do a little searching and find what works for TweetDeck, Twhirl, Twitterific, and a whole host of other desktop social networking apps. I understand it's non-trivial to accomplish this stuff - but you have an awesome product and I'd love to see it keep growing.

    fix the bugs

I had trouble installing on Vista Ultimate 32-bit. TweetDeck installed without issue. I had to uninstall and reinstall AlertThingy. Then it had troubles with Facebook. Facebook returned an error about invalid API.
If you want to succeed you will need to get these bugs squashed!

    Bug: Duplicate twitter entries

A friend tweeted, and now it shows up twice in my list. Once with his username (cwjohnston), once with his real name (Cameron Johnston). The tweets are identical, and it doesn't look like he deleted one and retweeted (I checked using search.twitter.com).

More than just status updates in Facebook

It would be nice if more than just status updates were provided for facebook, e.g. also being able to view images people have added, and see profile updates etc.

    Scroller Bug

The scrolling is somehow inverting if I do it slowly. Works fine if its a quick scroll but jumps all over the place otherwise.

Using a Mac but I'm guessing it'll be universal if its in Air

    Bug: scrolling

Using the mouse scrollwheel to scroll works very inconsistently. It seems to work reliably if the mouse pointer is either 1. over the scrollbar or 2. over text that is a link (Reply, Retweet, etc.). Anywhere else, it rarely works.

The same is true of using two-finger scrolling on my Macbook Pro's touchpad.
