Free basecamp accounts only support one project, so its not necessary there. But if you want AlertThingy to have value to commercial customers, it must help distinguish which project an alert applies to.

I tweet on multiple accounts for personal, business, and organizations with similar interests. While I may follow for marketing purposes and to gain followers, I would like to limit viewing responses to those addressed to or about that account.

I have setup my freshbooks rss but it never works. This rss uses https so I don't know if that is an issue.

I have alot of feeds in my google reader. AlertThngy should be able to load feeds from my google reader account.

When someone has multiple accounts updated (e.g. via Ping.fm, or e.g. with Twitter updating Facebook), they will have multiple successive updates. Rolling the later ones into the earlier ones would be fantastic.

For what it's worth, Gwibber (another microblogging client) does this fairly well.

The ability to read and write comments on all Facebook Status entries (like the comment system on the FriendFeed version).

Only when using AlertThingy, clicking a link will not bring Firefox (my default browser) to the front.

For what it's worth, I have my Firefox preferences set to open external links in a new tab.

When friends get ahievements, become friends with other people, join a group. etc...
