add real-time updates to twitter messages like Google Talk
The lag is what is keeping me from using a client other than Google Talk full-time.

Would it be possible to add real-time updates such as how Google Talk and Jabber do it via the Jabber/XMPP protocol. Other clients are offering to add "faster" more frequent updates. Why not actual real-time instead?
